Profile

Julian Walder (Violin)

Julian Walder is a violinist born in Vienna, Austria in October 2000. He started learning violin at the age of 5 and won first prizes and top prizes in numerous violin competitions in Japan and abroad and around the world. He won the first prize at the NYIAA "New York International Artists Association". Performed at Carnegie's Weill Recital Hall. In 2023, he won a top prize at the Henri Marteau International Competition. Active in Europe, the United States, and other parts of the world. As an artist on the Spanish label KNS Classical, he released the CD "Faust" worldwide in 2021. He has also taught regular masterclasses since 2022. Since 2018, it has been supported by Thomastik-Infeld Wien. From the age of 11, Julian studied for three years with Natalia Plishpenko at Bruckner University in Linz, at the Graz University of Music and Performing Arts (KUG) and at the K.M.V. Weber University in Dresden, before studying at the Vienna School of Music and Performing Arts (MDW) under D. Fruwilt. He has also studied in master classes with many famous musicians around the world. He also receives the Arkady Fomin Scholarship Fund. The Capriccio (Naxos Records) label's CD "(R)-EVOLUTION" will be released on September 5, 2025, and will be released simultaneously worldwide.

Kazuko Seiler(Piano)

Born in Kyoto. After graduating from the High School of Music at Toho Gakuen, she studied abroad at the Mozarteum Conservatory in Salzburg. In 1972, she formed the Seiler Piano Duo with Ernst Seiler. He has been active in concerts, orchestra collaborations, international music festivals, and CD recordings in various parts of Japan and around the world. She has appeared on TV Asahi's "Tetsuko's Room" and NHK's "My Heart's Journey", as well as many other TV programs. She has appeared frequently in the media, such as giving lectures and writing, and continues to engage in a variety of activities.

In the first year of the Heisei era, Kayabuki Music Hall ≪National Registered Tangible Cultural Property≫ was established in Kyoto Prefecture. Kayabuki concert and Kayabuki Music Hall International Duo Competition were held. She has received numerous awards, including the Kyoto Prefectural Cultural Award for Merit, the Kyoto Creator Grand Prize in the Art and Culture Category, and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Commendation for Regional Cultural Merit from the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
